We are The Adobros and we are a Filipino supper club.
Our mission? To feed the hungry hordes of London with our brand of home-cooked and hearty Filipino food. Every Christmas we offer our signature BIBINGKA for nationwide delivery – a limited run this year, due to the arrival of a new member of The Adobros family. These rice and coconut milk batter cakes are a staple at Christmas, often sold fresh and hot out of a portable charcoal oven outside of churches when the early morning services (Simbang Gabi) finish.
Baked in banana leaves, our version are sweet, fluffy, chewy and downright delicious, with a savoury crust provided by a sprinkle of keso de bola (Edam cheese) on top. Think of them as a muffin crossed with a crumpet, and enjoy them with anything from salted butter to coconut caramel to clotted cream to custard to ice cream.
