About:
"Have you eaten yet?" is equivalent to “how are you?” in many Asian cultures. This question carries a tangible, direct sense of care towards one's livelihood & health, which often leads to impromptu food sharing. Following these ethics of reciprocal care and hospitality, we are curatorial collective of Asian diaspora artists organising talks, events & performances celebrating radical expressions of Asian joy.

Have You Eaten Yet? is an artist-run platform curated by Jessie Jing, Monica Tolia and Youngsook Choi. The first performance event & exhibition programme was commissioned by and launched for the Deptford X Festival in July 2021.
